Redesigning Informa’s exhibitor profile tool with enhanced functionality and much needed UX/UI improvements

MarkitMakr has long been the exhibitor profile tool for exhibitors to add their product descriptions, images, company profile that will displayed on the event site of the event(s) they are exhibiting at.
MarkitMakr is built on Drupal and as additions have been made over the years, it has evolved into a complex and not very user friendly experience for exhibitors, event visitors and the event marketing teams.
It was time for the Informa Markets UI/UX Team to add some sparkle!
Approach:
The UI/UX Director undertook the complex task of working out the user journeys and required pages for the new version of MarkitMakr, MarkitMakr90.
He briefed me on the requirements and using the Informa Markets branding and using a desktop template he created, I created the pages and variations of the pages in XD.
I created the UI states for the carousels, buttons, pop ups etc and the different breakpoints for each page.
MarkitMakr90 is now in the hands of the developers!
